"Warehouse Pacesetter," "Expert," and "Master" awarded as the company reinforces precision, accuracy, safety, and service excellence in non-standard customized equipment warehousing.

On May 19, 2026, Honest Automation held its annual "Sincere Cup" Warehouse Skills Competition. Under the theme "Precision, Accuracy, Safety, Sincerity," all nine warehouse staff members participated without exception. After a full day of intense hands-on competition, the titles of "Warehouse Pacesetter," "Warehouse Expert," and "Warehouse Master" were awarded, along with cash prizes and public recognition to set role models for the team.

Real-World Challenges Test Core Competencies

As a company specializing in non-standard customized motor automation equipment, Honest Automation's warehouse team faces complex operational demands daily — characterized by "high product mix, small batch sizes, and strong customization." To mirror real working conditions, all competition materials were taken directly from everyday non-standard components, such as custom screws, non-standard bushings, and easily confusable parts. In other words, they competed with what they actually handle on the job — no special purchases were needed.

The competition featured three hands-on events: incoming material check, order picking and issuing, and data entry into the Kingdee ERP system. The format was "individual operation + on-site timing + precise scoring," with full video recording and on-site supervision to ensure fairness. Final rankings were calculated by weighting the three events at 35%, 35%, and 30% respectively.

Three Intense Events, Outstanding Performance

The competition kicked off at 10:10 AM. In the picking event, participants had to quickly and accurately select items from 15 non-standard parts, paying special attention to easily confusable components. In the receiving event, a supplier delivery scenario was simulated: participants had to check 12 items against a delivery note and correctly identify quantity discrepancies and specification mismatches.

In the afternoon, the ERP entry event tested participants' digital operation skills. Each contestant had to enter a delivery note containing 10 items — including part numbers, specifications, quantities, and supplier information — into the Kingdee ERP system accurately and within a set time.

A six-person judging panel — representing HR & Administration, Digital Information, Procurement, Production, and Warehouse Management — independently scored each contestant. The average score was used as the final result for each event. Judges included senior representatives such as Xiang Hui (Management Director Representative) and Liu Cuiying (Procurement Representative), ensuring strict and consistent standards.

Recognition and Continuous Improvement

At the end of the day, the contestant with the highest overall score received the title of "Honest Automation Warehouse Pacesetter," along with a cash prize of 500 RMB and a certificate of honor, as well as priority consideration for the company's annual Excellent Employee award. The second- and third-place winners received the titles of "Warehouse Expert" and "Warehouse Master," with cash prizes of 300 RMB and 200 RMB respectively, plus certificates. All participants received a participation gift. The winners' achievements will be announced over the company's break-time broadcast, and their certificates will be displayed on the warehouse bulletin board.

Following the competition, the Warehouse Supervisor led a debriefing session. Common issues identified during the event — such as ERP entry errors and difficulties in distinguishing similar-looking parts — will be addressed through targeted training. Winners will also be invited to share their practical tips, and their best practices will be standardized into warehouse operating procedures.

Building a Stronger Warehouse Foundation

At Honest Automation, the warehouse is not just a storage area — it is a critical link that ensures smooth production and efficient supplier reconciliation. The "Sincere Cup" Skills Competition not only tested daily proficiency but also fostered a healthy "learn-compete-surpass" atmosphere among team members. It further strengthened the warehouse team's ability to meet the demanding requirements of non-standard customized equipment manufacturing.

Looking ahead, Honest Automation will continue to organize such hands-on skills competitions to drive continuous improvement — moving steadily toward greater precision, accuracy, safety, and sincerity.
