Project Background & Challenges
These customers require both prototyping and mass production of robot joint motors or humanoid robot assembly. Their current production capacity is no longer sufficient to meet growing customer and market demand, and they also place a strong emphasis on product confidentiality.
Solution Provided by Honest Automation
Honest Automation has provided Customer 1 with a fully automated assembly line for complete humanoid robots, covering the assembly of the head, arms, legs, and torso.
This production line received media coverage from CCTV1—China's official state broadcaster—and has garnered widespread attention.
Humanoid robots are now entering a true phase of mass production, and HONEST Automation has already taken a pioneering step: surpassing an annual production capacity of over 10,000 units.
With a robot rolling off the assembly line every 30 minutes, the process features 24 precision assembly stages, end-to-end digital guidance, and an overall efficiency improvement of
over 50% compared to traditional methods—all backed by 77 rigorous testing protocols to ensure the stability and reliability of every finished unit.
This represents more than just a production line; it marks a pivotal milestone in the evolution of humanoid robots—transitioning from the "prototype era" to an era of "scaled manufacturing."
For clients currently strategizing their entry into the fields of humanoid robots, motor systems, or automated production lines, this signifies: more mature mass production solutions,
more reliable delivery capabilities, and a more replicable manufacturing pathway.
If you are currently evaluating options for robotic systems or automated motor production lines, we invite you to get in touch for a discussion.

Provided Customer 2 with stator prototyping for humanoid robot joint motors, as well as a joint motor assembly line.
Provided Customer 3 with a fully automated assembly line for humanoid robot joint motors.
Provided Customer 4 with prototyping services for coreless motors used in robot finger joints.
In addition to these four customers, Honest Automation has also provided other clients with assembly lines for frameless torque motors used in robotics, as well as actuator motor assembly lines.
Key Equipment Features
The production line adopts a modular design concept, with full consideration given to future capacity expansion and compatibility with similar product variants. Sufficient physical space and electrical interfaces are reserved in advance.
In the future, if capacity needs to be increased or production needs to switch to a different model, this can be achieved quickly by adding workstations, calling the corresponding programs, and replacing certain tooling fixtures—significantly reducing both capacity ramp-up costs and production changeover costs.
Why Honest Automation
Honest Automation has already provided multiple customers with robot assembly lines, motor component assembly lines, and motor prototyping services. The company has mature mass-production cases and proven technologies in humanoid robot assembly.
By choosing us, you benefit from technology that has been fully validated in the market, with significantly lower risks in mass production.
