A motor automation project rarely starts with a machine.
It starts with a production challenge — a new motor design, a tighter cycle time, a more demanding process, or the need to move from development into reliable mass production.
Over the years, that has changed the way HONEST Automation looks at its role in the industry.
It Started with the Machine
When the company was founded in 2007, the focus was straightforward: develop reliable automation equipment for motor manufacturing.
But building a machine is only part of understanding automation.

Every winding, forming, insertion or assembly process has its own requirements. The more projects the team worked on, the deeper that process knowledge became — and the more important it was to understand what happened before and after the machine itself.
That perspective laid the groundwork for what came next.
The Bigger Picture: From Machines to Lines
As motor manufacturing became more sophisticated, customers needed more than standalone equipment.
A production line has to work as a system. Processes need to connect smoothly. Equipment needs to work together. Cycle time, quality and production stability all have to come together on the shop floor.

This is where the role began to expand.
Instead of asking only, “What machine does the customer need?”, the focus became, “What does the entire production process need to achieve?”
That shift moved the business from equipment supply toward complete motor manufacturing automation — from individual machines to integrated production lines.
Delivery Is Not the Finish Line
For a manufacturing project, equipment delivery is only one milestone.
Installation comes next. Then commissioning. Then process validation. And eventually, the real test: can the line perform consistently in production?
This is why today’s projects often involve much more than equipment itself. Process analysis, automation design, line integration, commissioning and production support are closely connected.

The goal is not simply to put a machine on the factory floor. It is to help make the production process work.
That approach has become increasingly important as manufacturers move into new applications, including automotive motors, BLDC motors, EV motor manufacturing and other emerging motor technologies.
A Different Kind of Supplier
There is a simple difference between supplying equipment and being part of a manufacturing project.
A supplier focuses on the machine.
A solution partner looks at the production around it.
That means understanding the process before equipment is designed, considering how individual stations fit into the line, staying involved during commissioning, and continuing to support the project as production evolves.
For customers, this creates a different kind of relationship — one built around the manufacturing outcome rather than a single equipment delivery.

The Evolution Continues
Nearly two decades after its beginning, the evolution of HONEST Automation is not simply a story of adding more equipment or entering more markets.
It is a shift in perspective.
From equipment to process.
From process to production line.
From project delivery to long-term partnership.
The machine remains an important part of the solution. But the bigger value lies in understanding how that machine fits into the production system — and helping customers move from manufacturing requirements to stable, scalable automation.
That is the direction behind the brand today: not simply supplying automation equipment, but becoming a partner in the manufacturing journey.
